Meeting of The Society of Mathematical Biology (SMB)

The
conference was held at the West
Park Conference Centre, University of Dundee in August 2003 and
was attended by over 200 delegates and speakers.
There
was a Civic Reception to initiate the meeting on the evening of Tuesday
5th August and the conference proper began at 9am Wednesday 6th August,
finishing lunchtime Saturday 9th August.
Programme
Details
The conference programme
consisted of 6 plenary talks, a plenary talk given
by The Okubo Prize Winner 2003 (announced at the meeting), 9 minisymposia
sessions (3 talks per session), parallel sessions of contributed talks and a
dedicated poster presentation session. Plenary talks were one hour in length,
minisymposia talks 40 minutes in length and contributed talks 20 minutes in
length.
